This picture literally makes me happier than any picture I’ve ever taken.

A few weeks ago, I was exploring New Fantasyland and I went to visit Ariel. We were both discussing how much we miss Prince Eric, and she suggested that we have a strong man, Gaston, move the statue of Eric into the Grotto.

I went and asked him if he would move it for us, and he agreed under the condition that Ariel sets him up with all six of her sisters.

I went back to the Grotto and was extremely disappointed to find that the statue of Prince Eric wasn’t there!

So I went to visit Gaston last week and asked him why the statue wasn’t put in the Grotto like he promised.

At first, he was all “What’s so special about Prince Eric anyways? They have him in Tokyo. Go see him there if you miss him so badly” but of course I don’t have the funds to just fly to Tokyo to see Prince Eric.

So I did the only logical thing. I asked him to pose like Prince Eric does in his statue.

His reaction to this request was the best thing I’ve ever witnessed.

“No no no no no no! It goes against everything I stand for! I mock those princes who pose like that! I’ve seen that Snow Prince pose like that for you, but I refuse”

I was literally begging. “Please please please please please please please” The photopass and character attendant were both laughing hysterically.

Finally after about a minute and a half of my ridiculous begging, he stood all sassy and said “Where are you going to put this? It won’t end up on any tavern walls will it?”

“Nope! I won’t put it anywhere I promise!”

And then he struck this pose.

I mean it’s not Prince Eric perfect, but it basically made my life.
